Life Groups

“Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” (Ephesians 4:15-16)

Life Groups exist because of our sincere desire to see people build relationships and grow in their faith. Our Sunday celebrations offer awesome opportunities to worship, learn, and serve, but Life Groups allow people to contribute to the church body in a more personal way. The reason why we call these things Life Groups (apart from the obvious) is because we believe that this is where life happens. It is in these smaller settings where lasting spiritual growth occurs, understanding is cultivated, needs are met, and people are bonded. While each group has its own flavor, the format is generally based around Bible study, discussion, and service opportunities. We also encourage play! We want groups to take a week off once in a while and do something fun together. All of these components facilitate living and growing together in Christ. Our hope is that people will have a voice, a purpose, and a community to call their own. Some of our groups have been meeting for years, others are just getting started. All of them would love to have you. If you are not involved in a Life Group, give it a shot… you may just experience life to the full!
