LifeGroups

Acts 2:42-47
‘They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.’

Life Groups exist because of our sincere desire to see people build relationships and grow in their faith. Our Sunday celebrations offer awesome opportunities to worship, learn, and serve, but Life Groups allow people to contribute to the church body in a more personal way. The reason why we call these things Life Groups is because we believe that this is where life happens. It is in these smaller settings where lasting spiritual growth occurs, understanding is cultivated, needs are met, and people are bonded. Life Groups are where we embody the early church rhythms of fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer. While each group has its own flavor, the format is generally based around discussion, connection, prayer, and often times food!  All of these components facilitate living and growing together in Christ. Our hope is that people will have a voice, a purpose, and a community to call their own. Some of our groups have been meeting for years, others are just getting started. All of them would love to have you. If you are not involved in a Life Group, give it a shot… you may just experience life to the full!
