DESCRIPTION:Couldn’t make it to retreat? Need a post-retreat retreat? Come to Herrick Lake at 9 am on Saturday morning\, June 8\, to spend time in silence and solitude. At 11 am we’ll break our silence and enjoy brunch together. \nThe event is simple. Show up\, bring your coffee\, a lawn chair\, and an old-fashioned (AKA: non-smart) watch. You’ll receive a set of prompts to help structure your prayer and reflection if you’d like. Otherwise\, just spend the time alone with God however you want. \nWe’ll gather at the parking lot closest to the entrance at 9 am. You’ll receive your booklet\, and then we’ll part ways. Find a cicada-free spot and make yourself comfy for 1.5 hours. \nThe only ground rules—no talking and no tech. 🙂 \nCan’t make it to Herrick Lake but want to join us for brunch? Wonderful! Just let us know. Anyone planning on attending brunch\, please register on Mighty Networks so we can get a headcount. Stay tuned for the brunch location. \nOther items you may want to bring: Bible\, bug spray\, bug-hat\, and a journal.
