The catchphrase “small things done with great love will change the world!” says it all. Various SE projects help us “Evangelize” the pre-Christians of our community. The first Saturday of every month we volunteer at the People's Resource Center of Dupage County. The People's Resource Center helps provide food, clothing, and other necessary items to families in need within Dupage County. On any given Saturday, we provide food for 100-160 families in a 2 hour period. Other random acts of kindness range from totally free car washes, to giveaways of all types, to volunteering to serve people in ways that surprise them. We know that showing God’s love in practical ways breaks down barriers between people and the Church, helps them see the real church in action, and brings them to a place of readiness to hear the Gospel. So often people have only seen the church holding its hand out expecting to receive. We desire to see the church holding its hands out in order to serve and give back to the community.
