Life of the Disciple

Recognizing a wealth of wisdom that surrounds us in the form of college and university professors, we have a monthly lecture series purely F.Y.I. (for your inspiration). The series features a speaker from the area who will educate us in their respective arena of expertise. Make plans now to be a part of these exciting times before our Celebrations on Sundays.  They aid us in our effort to be learners.  See the calendar for dates, times, and locations.

Encounter

The vertical part of the cross in our logo represents our need to “Encounter” God’s presence in worship and prayer. We set aside THE FOURTH Friday night (7:30-9:00pm) each month just to Encounter God together - and then go eat, of course. Each Encounter differs in format but maintains an emphasis of worship and prayer.

9:30 Prayer

It is correctly said that wherever anything is happening for God, His people are praying. We’re continuing to pray for this community during our weekly 9:30am prayer time each Sunday in the auditorium. Through prayer, God does more than we can even “ask or imagine.” There’s nothing we can do of more importance. Jesus said, “...you don’t have because you do not ask.” Don’t let warehouses of blessing for Life Church and the community sit in heaven unclaimed because we neglected to ask for them!
